Body safe

Bodysafe
Consent: Consent is a enthusiastic yes

Under age: You have to be over sixteen to have legal sex

Bystander: Don't stand there when someone might be getting hurt

Respect: Respect the person you have sex with

In body safe we learnt about sexual violence and the ways to be respectful when having sex,The best thing about body safe was watching videos to help me understand but know when someone asks me about body safe i can tell them what i learnt,it was good that i learnt those things in body safe so i know it in the future

  1. Kia ora Jurell,

Thanks for sharing your learnings from BodySafe, its really great you have remembered some really important messages especially about consent.

Well done for including Bystanders as well, often when violence happens people know about it or are concerned about it. It can be really hard to do something sometimes but it is so important that people do, like you say, because someone might be getting hurt.

    Ka pai!

  2. Kia ora Jurell!

Thanks for this awesome reflection on BodySafe. I really liked what you said about people respecting who they have sex with. That happens every step of the way - before, during and after.

I'm glad the videos helped you to understand a bit more about consent, respect and communication. Well done!
